Welcome to Jacaranda, where history and gastronomy intertwine to create a dining experience that transports you back to the British Raj era in the Nilgiris. Our culinary journey is inspired by Ooty's lush landscapes and the Jacaranda trees that bloom in splendid hues once a year. At Rosewood, we have curated the Dak Bungalow Menu — a tribute to the historical dak bungalows that dotted mail routes and later became Inspection Bungalows for British officers, synonymous with warm hospitality and memorable meals.

Dak Bungalow legacy: Legend says caretakers began cooking at the sound of approaching horses — we revive that spirit of feasting for modern travellers with local ingredients and colonial-era craft.

Special dining: Tailored to your preferences — ₹500 per person excluding taxes (veg/non-veg). Includes soup/salad, sorbet, main course & dessert. Extra items charged per portion.

Lawn & fireplace evenings: Bonfire dinner on the lawn; fireplace candlelight dining; bonfire + barbecue (lawn) priced per portion — ideal for romantic evenings and celebrations.

7-course Dak Bungalow dining: Soup/salad, starter, main course, veg sides, Indian breads, dessert — veg ₹1,050 per person · non-veg ₹1,350 per person (excluding taxes).
